Bear Point Cabin sits on the shore of Upper Lead Mountain Pond. Surrounded by water with stunning views, this off grid cabin has all the comforts you need for a relaxing unplugged vacation. Watch the sunrise over the mountain with morning coffee, swim in the crystal clear water, sit on the screened in porch and read a book, make s’mores by the campfire as the loons sing. Take a dirt road drive in search of a Maine moose and other wildlife.
Two Bedrooms and a loft. Sleeps 6 adults.
Off-grid with solar and generator power. Hot and cold water, shower, toilet and outhouse. This is the authentic Maine cabin experience.
The property is lakeside with extremely shallow water all around for about 100 yards from shore then it drops off making it great for kids. The cabin is comfortable but not large, the bedrooms are on the smaller side. The loft requires access by an attic stye ladder, and has a low ceiling. It is a classic Maine summer cabin.
Bring your ATV’s! The cabin sits on a connector trail to the famous Downeast Sunrise Trail.
Complimentary canoe and kayak available.
Pet friendly for well behaved dogs.
I include 5 additional gallons of gasoline for the generator. I also include a 5 gallon jug of drinking water and a case of bottled water. The sink water is from a shallow water well and is not potable.
No Fireworks.
